Lance Reventlow --
Scarab-Chevrolet
Reventlow was entered in this Scarab,
Chassis 001, the first of the three cars to be built. He damaged
the front end in a practice session for the Times GP and moved himself
into the #3 car, "bumping" scheduled driver Bruce
Kessler from his ride.
Note left hand drive. At the end
of the 1958 season, Reventlow sold the two right hand drive cars, and kept
this one as his street machine. In 1982, Don
Orosco bought this car from Reventlow's widow and raced
it in historic events for years. It's now owned
and raced by Rob Walton.
