| The owner identified the belly tank as originating from an F-16.
To your webmaster's eye it appears to be from a Vietnam-era F-105.
Note windshield and what appears to be a rear view mirror. Why would
a lakester need a rear view mirror? Maybe to see if the parachute
deployed properly? As you can see, all the running gear is
gone and what remains is the bare belly-tank. |
