Wade Carter in his 8360cc. 1972 McLaren M8FP on his way to a flag-to-flag win in Saturday's 7 lap qualifying race.  In Sunday's ten lap final, Carter finished 2nd to Fred Cziska's Shadow, identifiable "back in the pack" by the black color and "uop" logo.
