I watched Stan Peterson roll this car in Turn 1 at Vaca Valley Raceway in November, 1962.  Peterson blasted past Bill Sherwood in Red Faris' Ferrari-Chevy on the long Start/Finish straight and entered Turn 1 in the lead.  Not for long.  A moment later I was looking at the underside of the Maserati.
