the race in Hap Sharp's white, fin-less Cooper;
McLaren (#6) finished 2nd. Both cars used 2.75 liter Coventry- Climax
"Indy" engines. McLaren's car used the engine from Brabham's
9th place finishing Indianapolis
500 Cooper. Brabham used the spare engine from the Indy effort.
Brabham qualified
1st with a time of 2:01.000; McLaren qualified 3rd at 2:01.500.
