Heavy fog caused a one hour delay for the Group 1B qualifying race for 1955-1961 Sports/Racing cars under 2000cc.   The group took to the course under still very foggy conditions.  Improvement continued for Group 2B, the Formula Juniors.   The Formula One cars of Group 3B ran in bright sunshine.
