I hope he never quits. David Love and his Ferrari were there for the beginnings of historic racing. Dirk Layer won Saturday's qualifying race in the ex-George Koehne #2456 Birdcage Maserati.
Wes Abendroth in #22 a true rarity, a Canadian-built 1957 Sadler Mk.II -Chevy.  He leads John Buddenbaum in the Jaguar-powered Parkinson Special. Andy Leonard in the one-off Pontiac-powered "Hustler".  This car raced in the midwest in the 1960s.  Amazing how much it resembles the "Townsend Special".
Duncan Emmon's #20 Kurtis 500S leads Bill Benck's #19 Lotus Mk.X1 and Layer in the very fast Birdcage Maserati. Three heroes of historic racing in the esses.  Love leads Mozart and Price.
