class featuring a lot of variety.

Noel Park of San Pedro, CA won
the event in this 1956 Corvette. This beautiful car duplicates
the first 260 cid V8 powered Corvette, unfortunately no longer in existence. |

Jim Herlinger of Portola Valley CA finished
4th in the 4200cc. flathead Mercury V8 powered 1952

Chris Hart of Sheffield, UK drove the Manning
Special to 5th place. This veteran sports/racer, also powered by
a flathead Mercury V8 with a larger displacement of 4588cc, was built in
1952 by Wally Chapman of Schaghticote NY from blueprints supplied by Chuck
Manning. |
