The first race group is done and I've made some progress on the homepages.  This is a huge job!
  

Dick DeLuna of Woodside, CA in his 9914cc. 1917 Hall-Scott Special.  This very impressive car was a major crowd favorite.  DeLuna rumbled to 15th in Group 1A.

Scott McClenahan ran his 1750cc. 1930 Alfa Romeo with red foglights blazing in the very damp morning practice sessions for the pre-war cars.  Since these groups always run first they encounter the worst of the Monterey Peninsula's notorious summer fogs.

Bright sunshine greeted the pre-war racers for Saturday afternoon's events.  Brian Mullin of San Francisco raced his 4500cc. 1950 Talbot T-26 Grand Prix car to 9th place in Group 2A.
