No stranger to dirt-tracking,  Pike's Peak hillclimb winner Miller powerslides out of Laguna Seca's old Turn 9 during the June 5, 1960 event.  He leads 4th place finisher Glyer in his #26 Ferrari "Testa Rossa".   Miller DNF'd.

The two renewed the battle in the June 1961 event, with Chuck Howard's #67 red/gold Lister-Jaguar added to the mix.  All three DNF'd in that event.
