Paramount Ranch -- Homepage
Paramount Ranch was a unique road racing
course in the Santa Monica mountains above Malibu. It's now a National
Park and the "Old West" town with saloons & hitching rails and other
standards of the genre still exists.
The land was used as a film location
for many shoot 'em up Western movies.
After a fatality at the December, 1957
event the course was never used again.

The "Fabulous 50s" non-organization
staged a very pleasant non-event
at Paramount Ranch National Park on April 16, 2005. Many of the original
participants at the racing events were present, as well as some of the
actual cars. |
